The iCommerce Forum Mumbai is a new retail and e-commerce event in India, bringing together leading national and international players that want to take their e-commerce business to the next level. The two day event features a wide-range of exhibitors, masterclasses, interactive think tanks and meaningful networking opportunities.
Organized by Messe Munchen India, the organization was interested in designing and developing a website to present details and agenda of the event, along with designing of collaterals including brochures.

Since the event was to be organized in India, for the first time, we wanted all communication, whether online or offline to be self-explanatory and comprehensive.
For the logo, we used a combination of green, yellow and red. Three basic colours, which most of us have experimented enough with, through our growing years.
Forming shades of orange, of green, of yellow and of red. The idea behind presenting these combinations, was to show the possibilities resulting out of networking your knowledge and skills with others.
The typography used in the designing shows two individuals shaking hands, such that you’re able to connect with the professional outlook associated with the event.
Website design and development
With an elaborate agenda, a host of speakers and a detailed plan for each day, the website required to present all details, but allow easy access to interested individuals, to understand and take action right away.
For the header, we used a video and superimposed the text onto it. The single page website covers all necessary information in a systematic fashion, and every section has a prominent title, that highlights when you hover.
We did not want to bombard too much information on the home page, that would leave individuals confused where to go. Hence, information of speakers, the event venue and contact details are mentioned on the home page.
The overall website presents a niche experience for the user, communicating everything he/she would have to know if they were to purchase a ticket to the event.
